Help with Email Signatures

Instructions on how to put images in Email Signatures (for help on putting them in your Message Board signatures please contact your Board Administrator)

For your Email signatures you will need the HTML Code from your chosen image host such as Photobucket.com, to learn how to use Photobucket please read their Help pages.

Please Remember you are also obliged to link to YPD whenever you use an image from here.

• Sign in to your Yahoo inbox
• Go to your 'Options' (top right)
• Scroll down to 'Signature' and click it
• Click the box that says "View HTML Source" so it has a Check Mark/Tick in it
• Delete everything in the box
• Paste the code for the image in the box
• The image may have a border around it, if you dont want the border please add: style="border:0;" after <img and before src (your code should begin like this: <img style="border:0;" src...)
• Click the box that says "View HTML Source" again so it no longer has a Check Mark/Tick in it (You should now see the image in the box)
• Add whatever else you want in your signature using the formatting options there
• Click "Save" in the bottom left corner and you are done.

• Sign in to your Hotmail inbox
• Go to your 'Options' (top right)
• In the left side menu click "Mail"
• Click the "Personal Signature" option
• Un-Check/Un-Tick the box that says "Show Rich-Text toolbar" to hide the toolbar (Click "Ok" in the window that pops up)
• Paste the code for the image in the box
• The image may have a border around it, if you dont want the border please add: style="border:0;" after <img and before src (your code should begin like this: <img style="border:0;" src...)
• Click the box that says "Show Rich-Text toolbar" again so that it now has a Check-Mark/Tick in it (You should now see the image in the box)
• Add whatever else you want in your signature using the formatting options there
• Click "Save" in the bottom left corner and you are done.
• Be sure to turn ON the Rich-Text toolbar when composing a message and you should see the signature image in the message box.

Unfortunately at this time Gmail does not allow HTML in signatures so the Images cannot be displayed in your Gmail signature.

Linkware

Linkware means that the item is free to use ONLY if you place a link back to the Artists website with the Linkware you are using.
For example if you place a linkware image in your email signature, you would also have to place a link to the website where you got the image.
Please note that other terms do also apply to linkware, please read ALL the terms before using anything from Yellow Pixel Designs or any other website.

Link using HTML

For use in Email signatures, on Websites and other places that use HTML.
Select the following code and Press Ctrl+C or Right-Click and select Copy then to place the link to YPD in your Email signature or on your website go to where you want it to be and press Ctrl+V or Right-Click and select Paste:

Link Using BB Code

For use on most Message Boards.
Select the following code and Press Ctrl+C or Right-Click and select Copy then to place the link to YPD in your Message board Signature you generaly go to your user account control panel at the message board and edit your signature; press Ctrl+V or Right-Click and select Paste
Please note that Message Boards differ, if you are having problems placing the link in your signature please contact your board Administrator for help:
